BUILT FOR YOUR SIDE OF THE DEAL

The tools the big platforms won't build for you.

The companies that route you work are paid by the title industry. NotaryPilot is paid by you — so it's built to grow your take-home, not their order flow.

Get paid without chasing

See everything you're owed, aged 30/60/90. NotaryPilot writes the reminder, the past-due notice, and the final demand — you send it in a tap. Only ever to the assigning company, per the NNA Code of Conduct.

Know what each job earns

The decline calculator nets out your printing and driving before you accept: "That's $21/hour — counter at $95." Then see which companies are actually worth your time, ranked by real $/hour.

Your tax split, done right

Fees for notarial acts are exempt from the 15.3% SE tax — including the acts inside a loan signing. We total them per act and hand you the exempt figure for your Schedule SE. Not tax advice; review with your pro.

A journal that won’t let you break the law

NotaryPilot knows your state’s rules — it prompts the fields your state requires and blocks the ones it forbids. A Texas notary is never even shown the ID-number or thumbprint field the state prohibits. Per-state required fields, ID capture, credible witness, RON. (Keep your state-required journal too.)

STOP SUBSIDIZING SLOW PAYERS

Know who pays — before you say yes.

Late payment is the #1 complaint in the profession, and the platforms that hire notaries have no reason to fix it. NotaryPilot ranks your clients by how fast they actually pay and what they actually net you, straight from your own settled invoices — so you can charge more, or walk.

Questions, answered

Is it really free to start?

Yes — your first 10 signings include full access to every feature: collections, the decline calculator, the journal, and the tax tools. No credit card. A signing counts once you log it in your journal — scheduling assignments is always free and unlimited, so you can put your whole calendar in without using any of the 10. After 10, logging new signings needs Pro; everything you already logged stays yours to read, export and print, forever. Upgrade to Pro ($8.25/mo billed annually, or $12 month-to-month) when you're ready to keep going.

How is this different from NotaryGadget or CloseWise?

They're built to record your money or to route you orders. NotaryPilot is built around your side of the business: getting paid without chasing, knowing which companies actually pay and what each job nets you, and keeping a journal that blocks the entries your state prohibits. We do the bookkeeping and the SE-tax split too — but the reason to switch is the tools that fight for you, which the companies paid by the title industry have no reason to build. See the full comparison.

How does the tax split work?

Fees for notarial acts are exempt from the 15.3% self-employment tax; the signing/courier/travel portion isn't. NotaryPilot totals the exempt fees per act — including the acts performed inside a loan signing — and gives you a clean figure and CSV for your Schedule SE. It's a business-management tool, not tax advice; review the numbers with your tax professional.

Does it work on my phone and computer?

Both. NotaryPilot runs in any browser on your phone, tablet, and computer, and installs to your home screen for an app-like experience. Your data syncs to your account automatically.

Is this my official notary journal?

NotaryPilot keeps a detailed, searchable record of every signing as a business record and backup. Some states — including California — require a physical bound journal as the official record of commission. Keep your state-required journal; NotaryPilot is not a substitute for it.

Is my data private?

Your records are tied to your account and only accessible by you, protected by row-level security and encrypted in transit. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy.
